TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
Some typical problems may be easily solved if you follow closely this chapter
and you do the tests shown in the following steps.
The image does not appear in the Monitor
1. Check that the Monitor is switched on (on/off switch).
2. Check that the power supply is correctly connected, and the voltage is 18
Vdc between terminals "+" and "-".
3. Verify that there is no short between "V" and "M" in the coaxial cable.
4. Make sure that the Monitor has already been PROGRAMMED (see
page 32).
The Monitor cannot be programmed
1. Check that the JP1 jumper in the Outdoor Panel is in place.
2. Check that the voltage is correct at the Outdoor Panel and the Monitor,
(18 Vdc between terminals "+" and "-").
TABLE OF SECTIONS
The section of the wires used in the installation affects the funcionallity and
quality of your KIT. It is very important to follow the minimum sections shown in
the table below. For small installations (less than 100m) FERMAX recommends
its cable REF.5919.
In case you would want to install additional terminals in the future, it is advisable
to use a section larger than the one shown in this table.
