f) Charging the boat battery
Before using the boat for the first time, charge the battery using the charger provided.
Insert the plug on the charger into the power supply. Insert the small connector on the charger into the corresponding
socket on the rechargeable battery. Ensure that you insert the connector in the correct orientation (align the connector
with the socket on the battery).
Charging will begin provided that the battery is not defective (high impedance/disconnected) and the charger is con-
nected to a power supply. The red LED indicator on the charger will turn on to indicate that the battery is charging.

Warning!
The battery must be charged using the charger provided due to the nature of the wiring in the battery cells.
Connecting the battery to another type of charger may cause a fire, explosion or short circuit. This will void
the warranty.
