2.2.
Mounting and installation stand alone
The mounting must be carried out on an even and vertical surface. Any unevenness must be compensated.
Fix the device with 2 screws appropriated for the installation surface.
Install the device in compliance with the safety regulations defined by the EN 60728-11 standard.
Connect the output of the device to the established distribution network. Use a high-shielded coaxial cable
with an F connector.
If you are using devices with several outputs or several devices, the outputs must be connected with
suitable combiners.
There has to be used galvanic isolator between the output connector and antenna network in Sweden and
Norway state area.
2.3.
Equipotential bonding
If the device is mounted in the headend base unit, the connection to the equipotential bonding has to be
done via the headend base unit. Observe the operation instructions of the headend base unit!
If the module is mounted external a headend base unit the module and the power supply unit must be
connected to the equipotential bonding according to EN 60728-11. Use the equipotential bonding
connection at the device.
To connect the outer conductor of the coaxial cable to the equipotential bonding, use e.g. QEW earthing
angles or CFA earth connection blocks at the inputs of the modules and output of the combiner.
