Cross Multiplex Mode
The cross multiplex mode is used:
•
To split the programmes of a transonder to several modulators.
•
To merge pogams of several transponders into one output channel.
Transmission capacities in the distribution networks can be optimized.
Change the Network ID to a value greater than zero.
Click on SAVE CHANGES.
The IDs of the transport streams TS ID1 to TS ID4 are automatically incremented by one to four, the cross
multiplex mode is activated.
Important:
If you use several SKM in a network, then the network IDs must be the same and the network name should
also be the same. Transport stream IDs, on the other hand, may only be assigned once in the network.
Assigning programmes to the modulators
In the cross multiplex mode, the tuners are no longer assigned to one modulator.
