    1. Produktbeschreibung 1.1. Allgemeines SKM 40-00M Wandelt DVB-S/S2/S2x/T/T2/C in DVB-C oder DVB-T (abhängig von der installierten Firmware, siehe 3.7.1 auf Seite 32).     3. Konfiguration Die Konfiguration der Geräte erfolgt über die grafische Benutzeroberfläche der integrierten Webschnittstelle. Für den Zugriff auf die Benutzeroberfläche benötigen sie einen handelsüblichen PC/Laptop inklusive Netzwerkschnittstelle und die aktuelle Version des installierten Webbrowsers. Für die Anbindung der Netzwerkschnittstelle der Kassette an den Computer benötigen sie ein handelsübliches Netzwerkkabel. Die Kommunikation erfolgt via HTTP-Protokoll, was eine weltweite Fernwartung der Anlagen über das Internet, an unterschiedlichen Standorten ermöglicht.

    3.5.2. Füllstand Der Füllstand richtet sich nach der Anzahl der aktivierten Programme in der Programmtabelle (Menüpunkt Phase 2). Bei der Einstellung CROSS MULTIPLEX MODE ist besonders darauf zu achten, dass nicht zu viele Programme in einem Modulator aktiviert werden. Die Datenrate der Sender auf den DVB-S/S2/S2x-Transpondern kann, abhängig vom Bildinhalt und Übertragungsqualität variieren.

In der Phase 3 wird die Konfiguration der Modulatoren vorgenommen.

    Mit einer FEC von 7/8 erreichet man die höchste Nutzdatenrate und die gerinste Redunanz bei der Übertragung. • FEC 1/2 - geringe Datenrate - starker Fehlerschutz. • FEC 7/8 – hohe Datenrate – geringer Fehlerschutz. DVB-T Bandbreite: Der DVB-T-Standard sieht eine Ausstrahlung in 7 oder 8 MHz Kanälen vor. Bei einer größeren Bandbreite können mehr Daten in einem Kanal übertragen werden.

Dieser Überlauf führt zu Störungen. Der Überlauf des Modulators wird durch die Status-LED an der Front des Gerätes rot angezeigt.

    3.7.13. Network Information Table (NIT) Die NIT enthält Informationen über die Signalkonfiguration einer Kopfstelle. Ein Endgerät benötigt diese Informationen für einen schnellen Programmsuchlauf. Die LCN (Logical Channel Numbering) befindet sich innerhalb der NIT, wodurch die Programme virtuell einem Platz zugeordnet werden. Die Kopfstelle liefert ab Werk eine auto NIT, die alle Kanäle von 114 MHz bis 1002 MHz und lediglich die wichtigsten Parameter wie Symbolrate und Modulation beinhaltet.
