4.2 Luminous intensity – HTD 6xx
1. Position the beam setter in front of the calibration
device.

The distance should be 20 - 30 cm.
2. Align the beam setter with the headlamp calibration
device.
3. Use the spirit level in the light box to level the light
box.
4. For the horizontal alignment, align the line generated
by the laser visor with the alignment bars attached
to the calibration device or use the laser of the calib-
ration device for alignment.

Compensation for minor alignment errors is provided
by the lens geometry.

5. Switch on the beam setter and calibration device.
6. Select the "SERVICE" menu on the beam setter.
7. Select the "CALIBRATION" menu.
8. Enter password: Z0563Y
9. Select the "LIGHT CALIBRATION" menu.
10. Switch on the low beam on the calibration device.
11. If the beam setter's measured value does not
coincide with that of the calibration device, adjust
the value on the beam setter with the Up or Down
arrow keys and confirm the value.
12. Proceed in the same manner for the main beam as
for the dipped beam (repeat steps 9-11).
13. Select the "NEW EXPIRATION DATE" menu.
14. Enter the new calibration expiration date.
15. Confirm the date.
