Troubleshooting table

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.
Problem
Cooking zones not
working, blank display.
Fissures or cracks in the
hob.
The oven is not working,
the clock does not light
up.
The oven cannot be
switched on; "AUTO"
flashes.
Oven cannot be
switched on ("AUTO"
lights up in the display).
Temperature indicator
light (4) goes out.
Temperature indicator
light (4) does not illumi-
nate.
Possible solutions/tips
The power supply has been interrupted. Check the fuse for the cook-
er in the domestic fuse box. In case of doubt, connect our Service
Centre (see page EN-37).
Switch all cooking zones off immediately and cease to use the appli-
ance. Contact our Service Centre (see page EN-37)
1. The power supply has been interrupted:
Check the fuse for the oven at the fuse box.
Check the socket by connecting another appliance.
2. The clock is defective.
Notify our Service Centre to arrange the repair (see page DE-30).
After connecting or after a power failure, the clock must be set. See
chapter (see „The timer" on page EN-25).
The oven is in automatic operation mode. Switch to manual opera-
tion (see „The timer" on page EN-25).
The oven temperature has been reached. The light switches on
again automatically when the temperature drops.
First check that the appliance is still working (see above). If the light
is defective, only have it replaced by Customer Service (see page
EN-37).
