Troubleshooting table

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.
Problem
Cooking zones not
working, blank display.
Fissures or cracks in the
hob.
Temperature indicator
light goes out.
Temperature indicator
light does not illuminate.
The oven light is defec-
tive.
The external cooling fan
is not working; no air re-
leased from the air locks
and Cover is very hot.
Possible solutions/tips
The power supply has been interrupted. Check the fuse for the cook-
er in the domestic fuse box. In case of doubt, connect our Service .
Switch all cooking zones off immediately and cease to use the appli-
ance. Contact our Service.
The oven temperature has been reached. The light switches on
again automatically when the temperature drops.
First check that the appliance is still working (see above). If the light
is defective, only have it replaced by Customer Service (see page
EN-36).
Replace the defective bulb for the oven lighting (see „Changing the
oven light" on page EN-26). Note: Defective bulbs do not fall under
our warranty.
Switch on the oven light only – if there is no fan noise and air is be-
ing released, the fan is defective.
CAUTION!
Risk of burns!
In such an event, immediately open the oven door, switch
off the appliance, and stop using the cooker! Contact our
Service.
