The timer

Timer

Your timer is equipped with a countdown
function. You set a specific period, just as you
would with an egg timer. Once the period has
expired, a tone sounds. You can set a dura-
tion of one minute up to 23:59 hours.
Please note that the countdown timer does
not switch the oven on or off. You can also
use the countdown timer when the oven is
not switched on.
Starting the countdown
1. Press the MENU button until the display
shows "0·00" and the bell symbol
flashes.
2. Set the desired period of time using the
arrow buttons "<" and ">".
A few seconds after the last key is
pressed, the current time appears again
and the countdown starts in the back-

tic signal will sound for approx. 6 minutes

3. Briefly press the MENU button to turn off
the audible alarm.
4. Finally, hold down the MENU button until

Change audible signal

You can change the audible alarm that sounds
when you press the button and use the timer.
1. Simultaneously press the arrow keys until
the display reads "0·00" and the dot starts
to flash.
2. Briefly push the MENU button.
The display shows "ton1".
3. Use the left arrow key "<" to select the
desired tone (ton1 to ton3).
After approx. 3 seconds the display once
again shows the current time.
