Thanks to these energy saving functions, your appliance automatically adapts to your daily routine, without you having to
intervene.
To use these functions, we advise you to set your appliance to the COMFORT or COMFORT + modes.They are recom-
mended as a supplement to the programming functions via the pilot wire (connected to a timer or to the generator if it is sui-
table).
The Absence and presence detection function is activated as standard (activated when the appliance leaves the factory).
The Absence and presence detection function is available in both Heating and Cooling modes. It means that the tempe-
rature of your room is automatically lowered (in Heating mode) or increased (in Cooling mode) when you leave it, there-
fore allowing for energy savings.

E.g. in Heating mode:Your appliance is set to 19°C in Comfort mode.
At 9 a.m., it detects you are absent.
At 9.30 a.m., its operating temperature lowers to 18°C.
At 10 a.m., its operating temperature lowers to 17°C. At 10.30 a.m., it switches to Eco mode.
If it detects that no-one is present, the appliance will automatically and progressively lower or increase its temperature,
compared with the initial temperature setting.
When you return, the appliance will switch back to normal functioning.
The symbol flashes when someone is detected.
