6/ Hydraulic connections

Rules for connecting the appliance
This appliance is equipped with a water heater exchanger and must be installed downstream from a heat pump or boiler
type generator.
Depending on the setup (in particular when renovating a system or if there is only a limited number of dynamic radiators in
the circuit), make sure there is sufficient water in the installation for the generator by referring to the manual of the heat
pump or the boiler.
The pipes must not be longer than the values specified in the manual of the heat pump or the boiler.
If the appliance is used in Cooling mode, the pipes must be entirely insulated with the ends perfectly airtight to avoid any
condensation and to limit any losses.The insulation used to insulate the pipes must be protected, for example with a ther-
mal insulating sleeve for use up to 85°C.
The water condensed by the heat exchanger must be drained via a flexible plastic hose with an inner diameter of 12, 14 or
16 mm.The drain pipe can be separate for each appliance or connected to a main drain pipe.
The drain must be sufficiently sloped for the condensate to drain away.You are advised to use a trap if the condensate drain
pipe is connected to a waste water drain or any other pipe that may give out an unpleasant smell.

Hydraulic connections must be in accordance with the diagrams in your heat pump or boiler's manual.
Depending on the setup, make sure there is sufficient water in the installation for the generator by referring to the heat
pump or boiler's manual.

Connect the generator's water
inlet pipe (threaded connection
1/2" or 15-21) to the appliance's
water inlet connection.
2 Connect the generator's return
pipe (threaded connection 1/2" or
15-21) to the swivel connection
supplied with the appliance.
You should not use a swivel
connection that has already been
used.
3 Connect the 2 wiring harnesses between the front panel and the back of the appliance (refer to point 3 on page
10).
Close the front panel, taking care not to pinch the electrical connections. Insert and tighten the 2 screws (refer
to page 10).
