Installing the Accessories Expansion Cable

When and where to use: Follow these steps to install the accessories expansion cable.
Procedure:
1 Plug in the Accessories Expansion Cable to the subD Port of the Remote Mount Enhanced Control Head.
2 Tighten the screws at the subD connector to secure the Accessories Expansion Cable in place.
3 The Mobile Microphone Port (MMP)/USB port module can be mounted to various surfaces. Tighten the two
screws at both sides of the module to fix it securely in place.

Mobile Microphone Port (MMP)/USB Port Module, see section " Remote Mount Enhanced Control
Head/Motorcycle Mount Enhanced Control Head-to-Accessories (Accessories Expansion Cable)".

MTM800 FuG ET Remote Mount Installation

The MTM800 FuG ET can be configured in one of the following five configurations:
• Remote Mount installation with Ethernet Control Head (eCH) PMWN4024_
• Remote Mount installation with Ethernet Telephone Style Control Head (TSCH) PMWN4025_
• Dual Control Head with two eCH
• Dual Control Head with two TSCH
• Dual Control Head with mixed eCH and TSCH

Important: All Ethernet cables shown in the following illustrations require three ferrite clamps, Part
Number 91012044001, with two turns of wire around them. First ferrite clamp shall be installed manually
approximately 60 cm away from the Control Head and with the minimum spacing of 3 cm in between the
following 2 ferrite clamps. For single Control Head installations, the Control Head shall be connected to
port 1 of the Ethernet Expansion Head.
