Yes: Only after enabling this function, can the system start
system
up.
Before starting up the solar thermal system, you must:
▶ Fill and vent the solar thermal system.
▶ Check the parameters for the solar thermal system
and, if necessary, adjust them to suit the installed
system.
No: This function can be used to switch off the solar
system for maintenance purposes.

Settings menu primary store system (System 3)
This menu is only available if the module is installed in a BUS system,
without heat production.
The default settings are shown in bold in the adjustment ranges.
The following overview provides a brief description of the Transfer
settings menu. The menus and available settings are described in detail
on the following pages. The menus depend on the installed user
interface and the installed system.
Overview of the Transfer settings menu
• Change transfer configuration – Add functions to the transfer
system.
• Current transfer configuration – Graphic representation of the
currently configured transfer system.
• Transfer parameters – Settings for the installed transfer system.
Transfer parameters
Menu item
Adjustment range: Function description
Transfer switch-on
6 ... 10 ... 20 K: If the differential set here between
diff.
cylinder 1 and cylinder 3 is exceeded and all conditions for
switching on have been met, the transfer pump is on.
Transfer switch-off
3 ... 5 ... 17 K: If the differential between cylinder 1 and
diff.
cylinder 3 falls below the value set here, the transfer pump
is off.
Max. DHW temp.
20 ... 60 ... 80 °C: If the temperature in the 1st
cylinder goes over the value set here, the transfer pump is
off.
Daily heat-up time
00:00 ... 02:00 ... 23:45 h: Start time for daily heat-up.
Daily heat-up ends after a maximum of 3 hours.
Daily heat-up temp. 60 ... 80 °C: The daily heat-up ends once the set
temperature is reached, or, if the temperature is not
reached, after a maximum of 3 hours.
Fault display
Yes: If a fault develops in the transfer system, the output is
activated to t display the fault.
No: If a fault develops in the transfer system, the output is
not activated to display a fault (always de-energised).
Inverted: The fault display is activated but the signal is
inverted. This means that the output is energised and is
switched to the de-energised state, when a fault is
displayed.

Menu diagnosis
The menus are dependant on the installed user interface and the
installed system.
4.8.1
Function test
CAUTION:
Risk of scalding if cylinder temperature limiter deactivated during
the function test!
▶ Close all DHW draw-off points.
▶ Inform occupants of the premises of the risk of scalding.
If a MS 200 module is installed, the menu Solar, Transfer, or DHW, is
displayed.
With the help of this menu, pumps, mixers and valves in this system can
be tested. They are tested by setting various setting values. You can
check whether the mixer, pump or valve responds appropriately by
inspecting the behaviour of the corresponding component.
• Mixer, valve, e.g. 3-way mixer (CH backup mixed)
(adjustment range: Closed, Stop, Open)
– Closed: Valve/mixer closes fully.
– Stop: Valve/mixer remains in its current position.
– Open: Valve/mixer opens fully.
4.8.2
Monitored values
If a MS 200 module is installed, the menu Solar, Transfer, or DHW, is
displayed.
This menu allows you to call up information on the current status of the
system. For example, the system can display whether the maximum
cylinder temperature or the maximum collector temperature has been
reached.
The information and values that are provided depend on the system that
has been installed. Observe the documents for the heat source, user
interface, additional modules and other system components.
The Status menu item e.g. under the Solar pump, Central heating
backup, or Transfer menu items shows the status of the component
relevant to the function.
• TestMod: Manual mode active.
• AntBProt: Anti-seizing function – pump/valve is briefly switched on
at regular intervals.
• NoHeat: No solar energy/heat available.
• Ht pres.: Solar energy/heat available.
• Sol. off: Solar system not activated.
• Max. cyl.: Maximum cylinder temperature reached.
• Max. col.: Maximum collector temperature reached.
• Min. col.: Minimum collector temperature not reached.
• FrostP.: Frost protection active.
• Vac.Fct : Vacuum tube function active.
• U. check: Change-over check active.
• Switch: Switch-over from low priority cylinder to high priority
cylinder, or vice versa.
• Priority: High priority cylinder is heated.
• Therm.d.: Thermal disinfection or daily heat-up running.
• Mix.cal.: Mixer calibration active.
• Mix.opn: Mixer opens.
• Mix.cl: Mixer closes.
• Mix off: Mixer stops.
