8.3.3 Replacing the SCU

Replace the SCU:
f De-energise the charging column.
f Loosen the connectors.
f Remove the SCU from the top-hat rail.
f Place the new SCU on the top-hat rail.
f Re-connect the SCU with connectors.
The SCU must be reconfigured before start-up.
Reconfiguration requires that the software of the overall
system is up to date.
Please observe the documentation of MENNEKES ACU

f If necessary, update the SCU and all involved system
components.
f Configure the new SCU.
After replacing the SCU, a system check is mandatory.

8.3.4 Replacing the ACU

The ACU is located in the upper part of the charging
column on a hat rail. The ACU can be accessed after unfol-
ding the swing frame.

Replace the ACU:
f De-energise the charging column.
f Loosen the plug connectors 2 of the electrical connec-
tions.
f Remove the old ACU 1 from the top-hat rail.
f Remove the SIM card 3 from the old ACU (slot "SIM 1", if
present).
f Insert the SIM card in slot "SIM 1" of the new ACU.
f Place the new ACU on the top-hat rail.
f Re-connect the ACU with the connectors.
The ACU must be reconfigured before start-up.
