5.2.6 Unpacking

Risk of injury due to tipping over of the device
Even if slightly touched, an unsecured device can tip over
and squeeze people. In addition, the device can be dama-
ged.
f Only place the device on a level surface.
f Protect the device from tipping over.
f Mount the device quickly on a foundation.

ATTENTION
Damage to the charging column by improper handling
Collisions and impacts may damage the charging column.
f Move the charging column with utmost caution.
f Use a soft base to set aside the charging column.

The optional vacuum lifter facilitates handling of
the charging column.
Unpack the charging column:
f Loosen the strapping of cardboard packaging.
f Lift the cardboard packaging.
f Remove the key set 1 from the head-side hard foam
base.
f Remove the hard foam packaging.
f Remove the charging column.
f Place the charging column upright on the transport
pallet or on a soft surface.

f Open the lock 2 on the back of the charging column
f Fold the cover plate 1 upwards.
