General information on installation

Installation information
These conversion instructions describe the procedure for retrofitting a
CEREC AC Connect acquisition unit. This results in a CEREC AC acqui-
sition unit with a full range of functions.
Turning off the unit. DANGER
Potentially lethal shock hazard
People can be injured or electrical components of the unit destroyed.
➢ Switch off the unit prior to beginning work.
➢ Pull out the power cable.
Use of accessories

Accessories

For reasons of product safety, this product may be operated only with
original Sirona accessories or third-party accessories expressly appro-
ved by Sirona. The user is responsible for any damage resulting from
the use of non-approved accessories.
Order of tightening screws
NOTICE
Observe the order of tightening screws here.
Always start in the front at the handle and then tighten the screws to-
wards the back or bottom.
General information on cable breakage
NOTICE
If cable is kinked or twisted.
Kinking or twisting can cause the wires in the cable to break. The cable
must be replaced.
➢ Ensure that electrical lines do not become kinked or twisted.
