Safety notices for the blower
• This machine is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, senso-
ry or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning use of the machine
by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the machine.
• The operator or user is responsible for accidents or
hazards occurring to other people or their property.
• Other persons and animals should remain at a
distance of 3 metres or more when the machine is
being used. The operator is responsible for third
persons in the working area.
• Never operate the machine while people, especial-
ly children or pets, are nearby.
• Use the machine only in daylight or good artificial
light.
• Do not operate the machine when barefoot or wear-
ing open sandals, always wear substantial footwear
and long trousers.
• Failure to keep loose clothing from being drawn into
air intake could result in personal injury.
• Do not operate without tubes in place.
• Failure to keep long hair away from the air inlet
could result in personal injury.
• Always be sure of your footing on slopes.
• Keep all cooling air inlets clear of debris.
• Never blow debris in the direction of bystanders.
• Do not make any changes to the leaf blower. Un-
authorised changes can impair safety and lead to
increased noise and vibrations.
• Never overexert yourself and always maintain bal-
ance
• Walk calmly, never run quickly
• Do not work with the gardening tool during adverse
weather conditions, in particular if a storm is ap-
proaching.
Safety notices for Li-Ion batteries
• Do not open the battery. Risk of short-circuiting!
• Protect the battery from heat, e.g. from con-
stant sun exposure, and from fire, water and
humidity. Risk of explosion.
• When the battery has been damaged or it is
being used inappropriately, fumes can be re-
leased. Let fresh air in and consult a doctor if the
fumes cause you any problems. The fumes can ir-
ritate the respiratory tract.
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be eject-
ed from the battery. Avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation
or burns.

• Only use original batteries with the voltage
specified on the rating plate of your power tool.
If other batteries are used, e.g. imitations, recondi-
tioned batteries or products from third party manu-
facturers, there is a risk of personal injury as well
as property damage based on exploding batteries.
• The battery voltage must correspond with the
battery charging voltage of the charger. Other-
wise, there is a risk of fire and explosion.
• Charge the batteries only in chargers that
have been recommended by the manufacturer.
There is a risk of fire if a charger for a particular
type of battery is used for another type of battery.
• The battery can be damaged by sharp objects
such as a nail or screwdriver or by external ap-
plication of force. The battery may short-circuit
and start burning, smoking, exploding or overheat-
ing.
Warning! This electric tool generates an electromag-
netic field during operation. This field can impair ac-
tive or passive medical implants under certain condi-
tions. In order to prevent the risk of serious or deadly
injuries, we recommend that persons with medical
implants consult with their physician and the manu-
facturer of the medical implant prior to operating the
electric tool.
