NOTE
• Do not change the hand lever position during the change procedure!
This will result in malfunctions.
1 Insert hand lever through the cover into the bore.
2 Move the hand lever forwards in the direction of the torch neck past the
pressure point to the stop and take out the torch neck.
3 Insert torch neck into changeable body as far as it will go.
4 Push the hand lever toward the rear up to the stop and take it out, after
locking it.
The ATS rotor torch change system is a peripheral device that performs the
torch neck change during the fully automatic welding process. Request order
documentation on this or consult special documents for the exact procedure.
DANGER
Shortness of breath and poisoning caused by inhaling
phosgene gas
During the welding of workpieces that have been degreased with chlorine-
containing solvents phosgene gas is formed.
• Do not inhale smoke and vapours; prepare sufficient fresh air.
• Clean the workpieces before welding with clean water; do not place any
degreasing baths containing chlorine in the vicinity of the welding area.
