1. Important notes

– This product is not a medical instrument. It is a training instrument which has been developed for
measuring and displaying the pulse.
– Please consult your General Practitioner concerning your own values for upper and lower training
heart rate, as well as the duration and frequency of training. This will enable you to achieve opti-
mum results from training.
– When undertaking high-risk sports, please note that the use of the heart rate monitor can repre-
sent an additional source of injury.
– The monitor is intended only for personal use.
– This is a photoelectric, heart-rate monitor without a chest strap, which has been developed for use
when walking, jogging, running and mild aerobics. This monitor is not waterproof and cannot be
used when swimming.
– This monitor must be used only for the purpose for which it was developed and in the manner
described in the operating instructions. Any improper use can be dangerous. The manufacturer
cannot be held responsible for damage or injury caused by incorrect or improper use.
– Before use, ensure that the monitor and its accessories reveal no visible damage. Do not use it if
in any doubt and contact your dealer or the customer service address stated.
– Repairs must be carried out only by the customer service or authorized dealers.
– On no account attempt to repair the monitor yourself!
– Use the monitor only with the accessories provided.
– Avoid contact with sun creams or similar products, since these could damage the imprint or even
the plastic parts.
– The sensor can show pulse signals due to reflected light even when it is not attached to the hand.
