leaks; seal or replace as necessary.

Solution: Replace the vacuum connector insert.
Problem: Hose
Solution: Replace the hose between the vacuum
connector of the prosthetic socket and the suction
connector of the prosthetic knee joint.
= The vacuum does not decrease within 20 seconds.
= The vacuum decreases within 20 seconds.

accordingly.
Connect the vacuum gauge to the hose of the pros­
thetic knee joint. Flex and extend the prosthetic knee
joint until a vacuum of at least 300 mbar is reached.
Check whether the vacuum level is maintained.
Method of resolution: Replace the hose between
the vacuum gauge and prosthetic knee joint. Flex and
extend the prosthetic knee joint until a vacuum of at
least 300 mbar is reached. Check whether the vacu­
um level is maintained.
Problem: Valves or vacuum pump
Solution: Remove the valves of the 3R60 Vacuum;
clean or replace them. Connect the vacuum gauge to
the suction connector of the prosthetic knee joint.
Flex and extend the prosthetic knee joint until a vacu­
um of at least 300 mbar is reached. Check whether
the vacuum level is maintained.
Problem: Vacuum pump
Solution: Please contact the manufacturer's local
service representative and send in the defective pros­
thetic knee joint.
