Detection sensitivity and distance

The sensitivity of the flame detectors to different combustible materials was measured during
fire testing. The following table indicates the most suitable flame detector depending on the
combustible material contained in the object in question (flammable liquids or solid materials).
The table gives the detection sensitivity (detection distance) as a percentage in relation to an n-
heptane standard fire (0.1 m² fire pit, 0.5 liter).
