ATTENTION!
A sensitive ferrite antenna is integrated in the housing of the transmission unit.

Therefore, avoid hard impacts, high pressures and distortions!
Observe the following when installing the unit in the housing: Insert the
transmission unit by pushing both ends parallel in the housing.
3.1
Mounting instructions
We generally recommend carrying out a test measurement prior to the mounting. The procedure is
described in the mounting and connection instructions of the EU, chapter "Teach mode".
The installation position to be selected depends on the sensor used (see mounting and connec-
tion instructions of the sensor).
If the transmission unit is to be used together with another ID data carrier, carry out a test measure-
ment prior to the installation in order to determine the transmission range.
- The distance to the next transmission unit must be at least 80 mm.
- The 6 m connecting cable may be shortened but not lengthened!
- Carry out the installation on an even surface only.
- Do not tighten the fixing screws too tight in order to avoid damage to the housing.
