Two-alarm dependency (TAD)
If extinguishing systems are in use the alarm status of a single flame detector must not lead to
triggering of the extinguishing system.
Installation in 2-detector dependency type B is absolutely mandatory.
The CDS (central detector system) can be left out in fire detection and alarm activation if the fire
evaluation is performed on the basis of two or more wavelength ranges.
The programming of customer data is performed using the service and programming software
tools 8000.
Pre-alarm
When flame detectors are operating with TAD, the triggering of a detector (in this case a detector
zone) may be used for display of a pre-alarm independently of the programming of the fire alarm
control panel.
