● Pull the grass catcher bag fabric (B)
over the grass catcher bag frame (C) as
shown.
Insert the handle (1) through the
opening (2) in the grass catcher bag
fabric (B).
● Fasten the clips (3) on the grass
catcher bag fabric (B) at the top, bottom
and sides of the grass catcher bag
frame (C).
7.6 Removing and attaching the
grass catcher bag
Risk of injury!
The engine must be stopped
before attaching or removing the
grass catcher bag.
Attaching:
● Open the discharge flap (1) and hold it
open.
● Hold the grass catcher bag (2) by the
handle (3) and guide it to the discharge
chute on the lawn mower.
● Position the guiding plate of the grass
catcher bag over the crossbar (4).
● Attach the grass catcher bag (2) to the
grass catcher bag mount (6) by means
of the two locating lugs (5) (left and
right).
● Release the grass catcher bag and
slowly close the discharge flap (1).
Detaching:
● Open the discharge flap (1) and hold it
open.
● Hold the grass catcher bag (2) by the
handle (3) and slowly lift it until both
lugs (5) are detached from the grass
catcher bag mount (6).

● Remove the grass catcher bag
rearwards while carefully pulling the
guiding plate out of the discharge chute.
● Slowly close the discharge flap (1).
7.7 Central cutting height
adjustment
Risk of injury!
Stop the engine before adjusting
the cutting height.
Seven different cutting heights between
25 mm and 75 mm can be set.

Cutting level 1:
Lowest cutting height
Cutting level 7:
Highest cutting height
● Press the cutting height adjustment
lever (1) to the rear wheel (2) with one
hand and hold in position.
● Set the cutting height adjustment
lever (1) to the required position.
● Slowly release the cutting height
adjustment lever (1) again and allow it
to engage.

7.8 Fuel and engine oil

Avoid damage to the machine.

Top up the engine oil before starting
for the first time (see engine
instruction manual). VIKING
recommends using a suitable filling
aid when topping up the engine oil
(e.g. funnel). The filling aid is not
included in the standard equipment.
Engine oil:
Please consult the engine
instruction manual for the type of
engine oil to be used and the oil capacity.
Check the oil filling level at regular
intervals (see engine instruction manual).
Avoid exceeding or falling below the
correct oil level.
Fuel:
Recommendation:
Fresh good quality fuel.
Please consult the engine
instruction manual for details on the fuel
quality (octane rating).
– Unleaded petrol
A funnel should be used when filling the
tank with fuel (not included in standard
equipment).
