Visual inspection:
All stickers must be affixed and
clearly legible.
Visual inspection:
Components must not be
damaged.
Visual inspection:
No damage to insulation.

No escape of fluid.
Functional test:
Detent pins must extend and
retract properly.
Cleaning:
Clean all contaminated surfaces
and apply preservative agent if
applicable.
Paintwork care:
Sand down paintwork blemish-
es with sand paper (grain size
120) and touch up with the
appropriate RAL shade.
Visual inspection:
Components must not be
damaged or worn.
Typical examples of cable
damage: Individual wire breaks,
corrosion, kinking, constriction,
flattening, looping, tangling.
Pay particular attention to
cables in area of threaded end
pieces (under end plate).
Functional test:
Actuate slack cable switch.
Functional test:
Check freedom of movement
of locking mechanism.
Check fluid level in tank.
Dipstick must be immersed in
fluid (max. 5 mm) when lifting
platform is fully lowered.
Top up with specified organic
hydraulic fluid if necessary.
Check lubrication:
Lubricate all moving
components as per
lubrication chart.
Check strength.
Re-tighten to a torque of 60 Nm
if necessary.

8.4.�

Topping up the hydraulic fluid

The fluid tank is located behind the front wall of the
operating unit.
1. Make sure that the lifting platform is fully lowered.
2. Lock the master switch with a padlock.
3. Remove the mounting bolts for the front wall.
4. Tilt the front wall forward slightly and then lift it
upward to remove from the slotted holder.
 You can now access the fluid tank.

3 Drain plug
5. Check the fluid level.

When the lifting platform is fully lowered, the fluid
level must be approx. in the center of the level
indicator (red line = minimum value).
If required, top up the hydraulic fluid:
6. Unscrew the filler bleeder cap.
7. Top up with the specified organic hydraulic fluid.
8. Close the fluid tank with the filler bleeder cap.
8.4.4
Changing the hydraulic fluid
1. Position the collecting tank for the hydraulic fluid
underneath the drain plug.
2. Open the drain plug.
3. Unscrew the filler bleeder cap.
4. Wait until the fluid tank is empty.
5. Close the drain plug.
6. Refill the tank with the specified organic hydraulic
fluid.
7. Close the fluid tank with the filler bleeder cap.
8. The drained hydraulic fluid must be disposed of in
accordance with the applicable regulations.
