Safety features

¶
During assembly and operation, it must be ensured
that all safety devices are fully functional. This must
be verified on a regular basis and after any fault.
¶
The lifting platform must only be maintained
and repaired by Bosch customer service or
an authorized service outlet with appropriate
certification.
¶
Always use genuine replacement parts. The
installation of parts from other manufacturers will
render the type approval and any warranty claims
invalid.
¶
In particular, the functioning of the following safety
devices must be checked after any fault.

EMERGENCY By way of the lockable yellow and red master
STOP switch.

Deadman The lifting (o) and lowering (u) functions are
control only active while the corresponding buttons
are being pressed and held.
Foot protection The lowering of the lifting platform is
function stopped automatically at a height of 200 mm
("foot protection" safety level). In this case,
release the "Lower" button and check the
area under the lifting platform. If it is safe
to do so, press the "Lower" button again.
A warning signal sounds and the lifting
platform continues to move downward until
the lower end position is reached.
Synchronization An electronic control system ensures that
control the two runways are synchronized.
An electronic control system and monitoring
by a light barrier ensure that the two
runways are synchronized.
Overload The drive motor is protected by a
protection for temperature sensor. Following an overload,
drive motor the lifting platform can be operated again
after a cooling time of 10 minutes.
