3.1

Intended use

This device is designed for the accurate checking and
setting of commercial vehicle, passenger vehicle and
motorcycle headlamps and is only to be employed
for this purpose. Any application beyond the scope
of these specifications does not constitute the
intended use and could result in injuries or damage.
Robert Bosch GmbH cannot accept any liability for
injury or damage arising from such usage.
The manufacturer may make modifications to the
device without any prior notification to incorporate
technological developments and for the purpose
of adapting it to specific production or installation
requirements. Any slight differences between the
illustrations in this manual and the actual device have
no influence on the guaranteed safety and related
specifications.

Transportation information

The device is delivered in special packaging. Never form
stacks of more than five packs.

Important note on transportation:
A counterweight is attached to a rope in the
column. The device is only to be transported with
the counterweight fixed in position by means of
the locking screw. Otherwise the rope could snap,
making it impossible to adjust the height of the light
box.

On receipt, immediately check whether all the material
has been delivered and whether the device has suffered
any transportation damage. Bosch customer service or
the authorised service partner must be notified.
If any components are incorrect, missing or damaged,
please contact your franchised dealer, Bosch customer
service or the authorised service partner. Always
keep the packaging together with the original packing
material in case the product has to be sent back for
repair.
