6.10 Replacing the drive rolls
Risk of crushing
Hands can be pulled in and crushed by moving wheels.
• Do not reach into moving wheels.

• The drive rolls should be changed whenever the wire type or the wire diameter are changed or the
• Always replace/change the drive rolls in pairs.
• Observe the groove geometry and the wire diameter.
If necessary, sever the wire and feed it in again.

1 Switch off the power to the ABIDRIVE V2 and disconnect the mains plug.
2 Open the cover on the ABIDRIVE V2.
3 Fold the pressure lever (1) forwards.
4 Swing the pressure rocker (5) open together with the pressure rolls (2).
5 Remove the full-floating axles (4) (clipped in).
6 Replace the drive rolls (3).
7 Attach the full-floating axles (4) and close the pressure rocker (5).
8 Fold the pressure lever (1) back into the vertical position.
Use the pressure lever (1) to set the necessary contact pressure.
9 Close the cover.
