12. User settings

The charger includes a "User settings"
menu which contains many functions desig-
ned to ensure that its features can be set up
to suit any user.
One of those functions is the ability to select
any one of six menu languages.
Save / Copy
This function is used for saving (storing)
battery data during charge and discharge
processes.
If you leave both functions set to "No", the
data is sent to the USB port, so that it can
be displayed and saved using Logview PC
software.
The charger features an internal data
memory which records the information so
that it can be written to the PC and saved
later. If you wish to do this, Save must be set
to "Yes", and Copy to "No".
If you wish to read out the internal memory
later, you must set Save to "No" and Copy to
"Yes". Only then is the data passed to the
USB interface.
Note:
The data is stored inside the charger until
such time as a charge or discharge process
with another battery is initiated; at that point
the memory is overwritten.
