Application

BS EN 61010 defines the measurement categories I
to IV with reference to transient overvoltages and the
location within electrical installations. The FSA 050
is intended for use in category IV (primary supply
level) for systems with 600 V phase to ground.

8. Intrinsic error and opera-
ting error
The intrinsic error is the maximum inaccuracy of the
FSA 050 under ideal conditions, whereas the operating
error is the maximum inaccuracy with allowance for
battery voltage, temperature, interference, system vol-
tage and system frequency.
