If the neutral position is not correct (e.g. trimming control slightly off), you cannot switch between forward
and reverse driving. If you have this problem, correct the trimming settings for the driving function at the
transmitter.
However, it is better to put the transmitter trimming to the centre position and to then programme the
neutral position and full throttle positions for forward and reverse driving at the speed controller. Observe
chapter 10 a).
Stop driving immediately if the vehicle shows any unusual responses to the remote commands or if the
vehicle does not respond at all.
This behaviour could be caused by low drive batteries, low batteries/rechargeable batteries in the remote
control or by too great a distance between vehicle and remote control.
A damaged telescopic aerial, disturbances on the radio channel used (e.g. other models, radio transmissions
from other devices) or adverse transmission/reception conditions could also be a cause for unusual
responses of the vehicle.
Since the receiver is supplied with power through the speed controller BEC and thus through the drive
battery, low or empty drive batteries will cause unintentional movement of the vehicle (e.g. twitching of the
steering servo, etc.). For example, the voltage of the drive battery decreases for a short time under full
throttle, so that the receiver will no longer receive the required operating voltage. The vehicle will speed
up, but the steering servo does not react properly. Stop operating the vehicle at once and use a new, fully
charged drive battery.
The same applies if undervoltage recognition of the speed controller is activated. It protects the LiPo
battery from harmful deep discharge (the default setting is 3.0 V per cell).
When a new drive batters is used in the vehicle, always wait for at least 5 – 10 minutes before the next
drive until motor and speed controller have cooled down sufficiently.

i) Stopping the Vehicle

To stop driving, proceed as follows:
• Let go of the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter so that it goes into neutral position, and let the vehicle run out.
• Once the vehicle is stationary, remove the car body and switch off the speed controller (switch position at the vehicle
see chapter 8. e).
Never touch the wheels or the drive mechanism, and make sure you do not move the throttle/brake lever
at the transmitter!
• Disconnect the drive battery from the speed controller. Disconnect the plug connection completely.
• It is only now that the transmitter may be turned off.
Attention!
The motor, the speed controller and the drive battery get hot during operation! Do not touch these parts
immediately after operation. Danger of burns!
