f) Controlling the Vehicle

Operate the throttle/braking lever for the drive function at the transmitter very cautiously and do not drive
too fast at the beginning until you get used to the car's reactions.
Do not make any quick and jerky movements with the operating elements of the remote control.
If the vehicle tends to pull towards the left or the right, set the steering trim on the transmitter accordingly (dial "ST.TRIM").
There is a safety function for switching between forwards and reverse driving. The throttle/brake lever must be put in
the neutral position briefly; push it away from the handle briefly and then return it to the neutral position. If you push the
throttle/brake lever away from the handle now, the vehicle moves backwards.
The following figures are only to illustrate the functions and do not necessarily correspond to the design of the trans-
mitter provided!
1. Release throttle/brake lever (= neutral position): Vehicle rolls out or does not move (if required, correct trimming at
the transmitter, dial "TH.TRIM")
2. Driving forwards: Slowly pull the throttle/brake lever towards the handle
3. Drive forwards and brake then (vehicle decelerates; does not roll out slowly): Push throttle/brake lever away from
the handle without any break
4. Drive forwards and then backwards: Put the throttle/brake lever in the neutral position, wait briefly, then push it
away from the handle, then return it to the neutral position and push it away from the handle again
The speed controller has a safety function so that reversing is not possible before you have put the throttle/
brake lever into the neutral position twice.
This is to prevent that the drive is overloaded by too fast switching or that the vehicle suddenly drives
backwards when braking (see 3.).
