8. Initial Operation
a) Removing the Car Body
The car body is secured with four holding brackets which must be slid out from the retaining pins. The car body can
then be taken off.
b) Installing the Receiver's Antenna Cable
The receiver's antenna cable is normally coiled in the vehicle
as delivered.
Unwrap the antenna cable completely and smoothen it
carefully.
Now insert the antenna cable from below through the
attachment (1).
Guide it through the antenna tube (2) and plug the antenna
tube into the attachment.
If a rubber cap is enclosed for the antenna tube, it prevents
the dislocation of the cable after attachment on the tip.
c) Inserting the Rechargeable Battery Pack in the Vehicle
Pull off the two safety clips (1) and then lift the attachment
rod off by pulling it upwards (2). At the back end (5) it is only
inserted under the shock absorber bridge.
Insert a rechargeable battery pack (4) into the chassis, the
connection cable should point towards the front axle.
The foam plates (3) may need to be removed depending on
the shape of the rechargeable battery pack. The control unit
can be operated with a 6-cel or 7-cell rechargeable battery
pack.
Put the attachment rod (2) back in place, insert it back under
the shock absorber bridge (5). Fasten the attachment rod
again with the safety clips you initially removed (1).
Attention!
The rechargeable battery pack must not yet
be connected to the control unit/receiver.
