b) Switching on the IR Transmitter

Briefly push the on/off button with your finger (also see
figure 1, item 2).
The LED of the operation control display (8) starts to flash
quickly and shows that the transmitter is sufficiently sup-
plied with voltage.
The control lever for the pitch function (7) is held in the
bottom-most position by spring force. Now push the con-
trol lever into the top-most position. The operating control
display LED flashes slowly then.
Return the control lever to the bottom-most position. The
LED of the operating control display remains lit now. The
transmitter is ready for operation.
To switch the transmitter off again, keep the on/off button
pressed for approx. 2 seconds.
Attention!
In order to protect the batteries, the transmitter has an automatic deactivation function that switches off the
transmitter at rest after approx. 2 minutes.
If the LED of the operating control display starts to flash quickly or the charge process of the flight battery takes dis-
proportionally long, the inserted batteries must be replaced by fresh ones.

c) Operation of the IR Transmitter

Hold the IR transmitter in both hands and operate the two control levers (see figure 1, item 3 and 7) with your thumbs.
Signal transmission from the transmitter to the model takes place via an IR light signal (invisible to the hu-
man eye) instead of by radio.
It is therefore important that your IR transmitter diodes (see figure 1, item 1) are always "targeted" at the
model to achieve best signal transfer.
Obstacles between the transmitter and model can impair signal transmission. Therefore, always observe a
direct "line of sight" between the transmitter and the model helicopter.
