6. Éléments de connexion et de réglage
(26) Bouton avance
Ce bouton permet de sélectionner le titre ou le dossier suivant présent sur la carte SD ou sur le support de stockage USB. Maintenez le bouton
enfoncé pour activer un défi lement rapide de l'affi chage du titre vers l'avant.
(27) Bouton retour
Ce bouton permet de sélectionner le titre ou le dossier précédent présent sur la carte SD ou sur le support de stockage USB. Maintenez le
bouton enfoncé pour activer un défi lement rapide de l'affi chage du titre vers l'arrière.
(28) Bouton SINGLE/CONTINUE
Actionnez ce bouton pour passer du mode SINGLE (lecture individuelle) au mode CONTINUE (lecture continue). Le mode SINGLE permet
de lire uniquement le titre courant, après quoi la lecture est interrompue. Dans le mode CONTINUE, tous les titres de tous les dossiers sont
lus à la suite.
(29) Bouton IN (LOOP)
La fonction LOOP permet de lire en boucle un passage choisi d'un titre. Appuyez sur le bouton IN après avoir sélectionné le point de début de
la boucle. Le bouton s'allume en bleu.
(30) Bouton OUT (LOOP)
Appuyez sur ce bouton après avoir sélectionné le point de fi n de la boucle. Les boutons IN et OUT clignotent en bleu pendant que la boucle est
répétée à l'infi ni. Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton OUT pour arrêter la boucle. La lecture du titre reprend normalement.
(31) Bouton RELOOP
Appuyez de nouveau sur ce bouton pour relire la boucle enregistrée.
(32) Régulateur de vitesse (PITCH)
Ce bouton permet d'augmenter ou de diminuer de 16 % maximum la vitesse de lecture du titre. Pour réduire la vitesse, remontez le bouton
de réglage. Pour augmenter la vitesse, abaissez le bouton de réglage. Pour lire le titre à vitesse normale, réglez le bouton sur la position
intermédiaire (0%).
(33) Bouton PITCH
Appuyez sur ce bouton pour régler la vitesse de lecture à l'aide du régulateur de vitesse (PITCH). Ceci ne fonctionne que si la touche PITCH
est allumée en bleu.
(34) Bouton PITCH +
Maintenez ce bouton enfoncé pour augmenter la vitesse de lecture. Relâchez le bouton pour lire le titre à vitesse normale.
(35) Bouton PITCH -
Maintenez ce bouton enfoncé pour diminuer la vitesse de lecture. Relâchez le bouton pour lire le titre à vitesse normale.
(36) Bouton CUE
Le bouton CUE permet de reprendre un point précis du titre en cours de lecture. Appuyez sur le bouton LECTURE/PAUSE (41) pour interrompre
la lecture un point précis. Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton LECTURE/PAUSE pour reprendre la lecture du titre. Appuyez en cours de lecture
sur le bouton CUE pour revenir au point correspondant à la dernière interruption.
(37) Bouton BRAKE
Ce bouton d'effet permet de lire au ralenti le début du titre avant de continuer à vitesse normale. Lorsque vous interrompez le titre, celui-ci
s'arrête lentement jusqu'à l'arrêt complet de la lecture.
(38) Bouton REVERSE
Appuyez sur ce bouton pour lire en direction inverse le titre courant.
(39) Bouton TIME
Appuyez sur ce bouton pour affi cher la durée restante du titre. L'écran indique « REMAIN ». Appuyez à nouveau sur ce bouton pour affi cher la
durée écoulée du titre. L'écran indique « ELAPSED ».

6. Connection and Operating Elements
(40) VINYL button
Press this button in order to activate the scratch function of the jog wheel (42). The button is lit up in blue.
(41) PLAY/PAUSE button
Press this button in order to start or stop playback.
(42) Jog wheel
The jog wheel allows you to create scratch effects, to fast-forward or rewind within a track and to modify the playback speed.
If you have already pressed the VINYL (40) button (button is lit up in blue), you can create scratch effects in pause and playback mode by
moving the jog wheel forwards and backwards. Turn the jog wheel clockwise to fast-forward within the track. Turn the jog wheel anti-clockwise
to rewind within the track. The faster you turn the jog wheel, the faster the track will skip forwards/backwards.
If the VINYL button is not activated (button is not lit up), you can use the jog wheel in pause mode to fast-forward or rewind the track. In
playback mode you can modify the playback speed. Rotate the jog wheel clockwise to increase the speed. Rotate the jog wheel anti-clockwise
to decrease the speed.
(43) Channel fader
Using these slide controls, you can set the levels of the individual channels. The maximum level is achieved in the control position "10", the
minimum level in position "0". One fader is available per channel.
(44) LED level indicator
The level indicator provides information about the signal level (MASTER output level). The value shown on the display should not exceed the
"0 dB" value in order to prevent distortion of the music signal.
(45) Cross fader control
This slider is used to cross-fade between the channels CH1 and CH2, i.e. one channel is faded out (becomes quieter) while the other channel
is faded in (becomes louder).
When the cross fader is in the middle position, the channels CH1 and CH2 are played at the same volume.
(46) TAP button
Press the TAP button repeatedly to the beat of the music in order to manually defi ne the BPM (beats per minute). The value is shown on the
display.
The control elements (24) through (42) plus (46) only work if the track is being played back from a USB device or SD card.
7. Installing the device
When setting the device up or installing it in a desk make sure to pay attention to suffi cient ventilation.
Do not place the device on soft surfaces, such as a carpet or a bed etc.
Moreover, the air circulation must not be obstructed by such objects as magazines, table cloths or the like. This stops
the heat dissipation of the product and can lead to overheating (fi re hazard).
Do not drill any holes in the mixing desk case. The device may otherwise be damaged and this could impair its safety.
When setting up the device, it is important to pay attention to a secure position and a fi rm surface.
A fall of the mixing desk could injure people.
During set up or installation of the device, make sure the connecting cables are neither jammed nor damaged by sharp
edges.
Only place cables in a way so that nobody could fall over them or get caught by them. Risk of injury.
When selecting a location, make sure it is not exposed to direct, intensive sunlight, vibrations, dust, heat, cold or humidity.
No devices with strong electric or magnetic fi elds such as transformers, motors, cordless phones, radio devices etc.
must be in the direct proximity of the mixing desk, since they may interfere with the mixing desk.
Place the device securely on an even surface. Never place the device on valuable or delicate furniture without suitable
protection.
