The installation location should not be visible from outside the house and should
not be immediately visible from inside. After all, people don't need to know whe-
re your alarm system is installed.
• The installation of the alarm control centre should not be carried out on or in close
proximity to large metal objects (radiators, mirrors, reinforced concrete wall, metal
doors), as the transmission range will be reduced.
• Do not position the alarm control centre in close proximity to heat sources.

b) Installation and Connection of the Alarm Control Centre

Once you have found a suitable installation location, you can begin the process of
installation and connection of the alarm control centre. To do so, proceed as descri-
bed in the following:
• Open the "battery compartment" (7) and insert the 4x 1.5 V micro batteries ensu-
ring correct polarity (type AAA).
• Close the "battery compartment" (7) again.
• The wall mounting of the alarm control centre is carried out with two screws and
dowel. First attach two screws horizontally level at a distance of 84 mm from one
another at the chosen mounting location. Depending on the condition of the wall,
you will need to drill two holes and insert wall plugs.
Be careful not to accidentally damage any electric cables, gas or
water pipes, there is a risk of injury or death!
• Then insert and tighten the screws with a suitable screwdriver. Ensure that the dis-
tance between the bottom of the screw head and the wall is approximately 3mm.
• The alarm control centre is then hung on the two screws with the two slits on the
back of the device.
• Connect the plug-in power supply to a 230 V/AC 50 Hz power socket.
• Connect the low voltage plug of the mains adapter to the operating voltage con-
nection (INPUT DC 12V).
After installation and connection, the green "POWER status LED" (6)
lights.
• Extend the aerial out upwards to ensure best signal reception.
