Alarm Unit installation

The sensor and the Alarm Unit must be connected to the
same AC power circuit, e.g. the ground floor or first floor
power circuit!

1. Position the Alarm Unit as closely as possible when connecting
the sensor!
2. The Alarm Unit may only be used indoors! In this connection,
observe the safety instructions!

Alarm adjustment

1. Set switch "9" to position "ALARM" or "BELL"!
2. Set the volume "8" to the "HIGH" position (loud)!
3. Plug the Alarm Unit into a power socket!
4. LED "10" lights.
5. Now walk into the sensor area of coverage!

6. The alarm (doorbell) is activated after approx. 1 second.
Note:
If the unit does not switch on, the electrical connection between
the sensor and the Alarm Unit should be shortened, for example
by plugging it into another power socket until the unit does
switch on!
Test the alarm once again in the new location, to make sure that
the range is not exceeded!
7. Press the "TEST" button "6" (manual trigger) and set the
desired alarm mode and volume.
8. Press the "RESET" button "7", to turn off the alarm tone when
this sounds.
9. If the red LED lights, the system is ready. If on the contrary the
LED flashes, the alarm is activated, that is to say there is move-
ment in the area of coverage.
Sensor adjustments
1. The time during which a floodlight (if connected) shall remain
switched on can be adjusted with the "Timer" control
(10 seconds to 10 minutes). Only a small rotation of the control
is necessary to achieve a noticeable reduction or increase in
switched-on time.
Note:
The timer is reset again after each detected movement.
2. The light intensity at which the sensor switches on (e.g. at twi-
light) can be adjusted with the "Twilight" control !
