9. Signalling Function

The signalling function is used when the system is disarmed. Depending on event,
different signals are output. They depend on the switch position of the "alarm mode
selection switch (11).

9.1 Mute Signalling (MUTE)

To temporarily mute the signalling beeps press "MUTE" (9) on the side of the casing
while they sound. This mutes all beeps currently audible. This is sensible, e.g. when
a window is to be opened to air the room.
To deactivate the mute function, the sensor must be deactivated (e.g. close magnet
contact). When the window is then opened again, the signalling beep is audible
again.
