• If the device is mounted in an elevated position, secure it using a suitable safety retention rope or a
safety net. The safety retention rope or the net must be able to support the LED spot independently of the
main mounting support in the event that the main support system fails.
• Set the desired inclination angle and tighten the thumb screws on the mounting brackets.
• As an alternative to the mounting setup described above, the two mounting brackets can be pivoted such
that they make a stand, which can be used to place the LED spot on a surface.

10. Remote control battery

Inserting/changing the remote control battery
• If the remote control no longer functions properly or the range decreases, the battery is empty and must
be replaced with a new one of the same type.
• Remove the battery holder on the bottom of the remote control. To do this, slide the lock on the end of the
battery holder in the direction of the arrow and then remove the battery holder.
• Insert a new 3 V CR2025 button cell battery with correct polarity into the battery holder (observe the
plus/+ and minus/- signs on the casing).
• Slide the battery holder with the newly inserted battery back into the correct position. Ensure that it
clicks into place properly.
When using for the first time, the remote control battery is protected from discharge by an
isolation film. Remove this film before use by pulling it out of the remote control's battery
compartment.

11. DMX 512 connection

You can operate a maximum of 30 devices in a DMX chain without overloading the controller.
The maximum total length of the DMX chain should not exceed 100 m.
The use of XLR microphone cables may interfere with the DMX signal transmission. In this
case, please use special DMX high-frequency cables.

a) Connecting a DMX controller

Only connect the device to a DMX controller with a DMX-512 protocol.
• Connect the DMX IN connection (13) to the output on the DMX controller.
• Use a shielded XLR cable to establish the connection. Depending on the DMX operation mode, the
controller must have up to 7 free control channels.
