• Connect the DMX OUT connection (1) to the DMX IN input on the subsequent device.
• If the LED spot is the last or the only device in the DMX chain, insert a plug with a 120 ohm/0.25 W
terminating resistor into the DMX OUT socket (between Pin2 and Pin3).
Pin assignment for the DMX connection: Pin1 = earth / Pin2 = (-) / Pin3 = (+).

b) Setting up a master-slave chain

The LED spot can also be used as a device in a master-slave chain controlled by a DMX controller. In this
setup, the integrated controller on the master device controls the connected slave devices.
• Connect the DMX OUT port (1) on the master device to the DMX IN port (13) on the first slave device.
• Connect the DMX OUT port on the first slave device to the DMX IN port on the subsequent slave device.
• Proceed as described above with all the remaining slave devices.
• Plug an XLR plug with a terminating resistor into the DMX OUT port on the last slave device (as described

12. Power supply

• The device can be powered using the rechargeable battery or a mains connection. The product must be
set up according to the desired supply voltage. Remove the mains cable before using the LED spot with
the rechargeable battery. Choose the corresponding option.
• Move the LOAD (2) and BATTERY (3) switches to the ON position to use the device with the rechargeable
battery. To program the device, it is sufficient just to move the BATTERY switch to the ON position.
