• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under
mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or
cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged
mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains socket
(e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the mains
socket. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• A damaged mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, a workshop commissioned
by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person, so as to prevent any danger.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Check the device for damage before using for the first time. If there are any signs of damage,
do not use the device and consult an expert or our customer service.
• Anyone operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this product must be
trained and qualified properly and observe these operating instructions.
• Never look straight into the light source during operation. The bright flashes of light may
temporarily impair your eyesight. In addition, epileptic fits may be triggered under certain
circumstances in persons sensitive to such lights. This particularly applies to epileptics.
• The product belongs to LED risk group 2. LED warning signs in different languages are included
with the product. If the warning sign on the product is not in your local language, attach the
corresponding sign to the device.
When the device is on, do not look at the lamp for prolonged periods.
• LED radiation can be dangerous if the LED beam or a reflection enters an unprotected eye.
It is therefore important that you familiarise yourself with the statutory regulations and
precautionary measures for the operation of this kind of LED device before use.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Never cover the product with filter films, screens or other materials. This can lead to heat
damage and constitutes a fire hazard.
• The device may become hot during use. Do not touch the exterior of the device during use.
• Let the product cool down after use before touching or cleaning the exterior.
• In order to ensure sufficient ventilation, the device or its ventilation slots must not be covered.
In addition, air circulation should not be impaired by objects such as magazines, table clothes,
curtains and other objects. During operation, keep a minimum distance of 0.5 m around the
device.
