The camera features infrared LEDs for night vision. Please note that the image recor-
dings are black and white when the IR LEDs are active during darkness.
In addition, there is an opening in the bottom left hand corner of the front side of the
camera - the microphone is hidden there.

7. Installation and connection

Find a suitable mounting place from which the desired area can be observed.
A suitable mounting place for the camera has the following characteristics:
• vibration-free
• no direct sunlight
• dry indoor conditions
Select a place for mounting which is not shielded by, for example, reinforced con-
crete walls, steamed up mirrors or metal shelves. There should be no devices with
strong electric fields, such as mobile telephones, radios or electrical motors, close
to the transmitter or the receiver.
The above-mentioned conditions can considerably disturb radio transmission or limit the range.
