7.1 Mounting the wireless camera

None of the connecting cables should be bent or squeezed. This can result in mal-
functions, short circuits and defects in the device.
Make sure you do not damage any cables or power lines when drilling holes in the
wall or fastening screws.
The camera, the monitor and the wall power supply are intended for dry indoor
use only.
• Select a suitable mounting location for the camera base.
• There are 3 mounting holes on the base. Mark them on the wall (e.g. with a pencil).
• Drill the mounting holes.
• Attach the base to the wall using suitable mounting material.
• Attach the camera to the base on the screw threat (2).
• Put the camera in the desired position.
• Tighten the attachment screw (3).
Do not point the camera directly toward bright sunlight or toward strong or direct
light sources as this may lead to overexposure and a fuzzy picture.

7.2 Connecting the wireless camera

• Connect the low voltage plug of the supplied wall power supply with the "DC IN 5 V" (5) power socket
on your wireless camera.
• Plug the wall power supply into a 230 V/AC 50Hz mains socket.
The wall power supply may never be plugged in or unplugged with wet hands. There
is a risk of a fatal electric shock!
7.3 Charging the built-in rechargeable battery of
the camera
The camera has a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The charging time is two
hours. The battery has to be charged before first operation or when the radio range
gets shorter.
To start charging, connect to low-voltage plug of the wall power plug to the "DC IN 5 V" connection (5).
During the charging process the red "Charge" status LED (4) is on.
