4. Safety instructions
The guarantee will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
these operating instructions! We assume no liability for any consequential damage!
We do accept any liability for personal injury or damage to property caused by incor-
rect handling or non-observance of the safety instructions. In such cases the war-
ranty/guarantee is voided.
• The system components must not be modified or rebuilt, as not only the CE
approval will become void but also the warranty/guarantee.
• The system components must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sun-
light, intense vibration or heavy mechanical stress.
• If the devices are used in connection with other devices, e.g. an additional monitor
or a video recorder, the operating instructions and safety instructions of the con-
nected devices must also be observed.
• The operation of this surveillance camera system does not replace personal super-
vision of children or people who require special assistance, but serves only as a
support to this supervision.
• This camera system uses and generates high frequency energy. If the devices are
not installed and operated in accordance with these instructions, they can cause
radio interferences. If a wireless camera system causes interference in other
devices, attempt one or more of the following measures listed below in order to
restore normal function:
- Change the position of the camera.
- Increase the distance between the affected device and the wireless camera or the
monitor.
- Select a different transmission channel.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the system components require approx. 15
minutes to stabilise and adjust to the surrounding temperature before they can be
operated.
• The built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery of the camera and the provided lithi-
um-ion rechargeable battery for the monitor may only be charged using the provid-
ed wall power supplies.
• The system components are no toys and should be kept out of the reach of chil-
dren!
• The supplied wall power supplies conform to protection class II. They may only be
connected to a standard household 230V~/50Hz mains supply socket.
• Please contact a qualified expert if you are not sure about the safety or the correct
use of the system components.
