The monitor allows you to connect another monitor (or video
recorder).
If you want to connect another monitor, connect the 3.5 mm
TRS connector of the supplied AV cable to the "VIDEO OUT"
socket (11). Connect the other end of the AV cable to the
video input of your monitor.
Fold down the monitor base at the back (13) and place the
monitor e.g. on a table.
The wall power supply must never be plug-
ged in or unplugged with wet hands. There is a risk of a fatal electric shock!

7.7 Charging the Li-ion battery for the monitor

Before first use, the provided battery has to be charged for 2.5 hours. The monitor battery also has to be
charged when the radio range between the camera and the monitor gets weaker.
• Remove the battery compartment lid (20) at the back.
• Insert the provided 1400 mAh 3.7 V lithium-ion rechargeable battery in the battery compartment (20).
Watch out for the right polarity.
• Close the battery compartment (20) by sliding the lid back on.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the provided wall power supply to the "DC 5V IN" connection (12) on
the monitor.
• Plug the wall power supply into a 230 V/AC 50Hz mains socket.
• Turn off the monitor by putting the ON/OFF switch (19) in the OFF position.
• During the charging process the red charging status LED (15), which is integrated in the channel selec-
tion button (15), is on.

7.8 Using earphones

You can connect the provided earphones to the earphone socket (21). This deactivates the loud-
speaker (17).

8. Operation

• Connect the wall power supplies of the camera and the monitor to a suitable 230 V/AC 50 Hz mains
socket.
• Turn on the monitor by putting the ON/OFF switch (19) in the ON position.
