Maintenance
Regularly check the camera and the power source con-
nected to it for technical safety, e.g. damage to the con-
necting cable and casings.
If there is room to believe that safe operation has
become impossible put the camera or plug-in power
supply unit out of operation and secure it against any
unintended operation. Withdraw the mains plug from
the socket.
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possi-
ble, if
• the camera or connecting lines for plug-in power sup-
ply units exhibit visible damage
• the camera or connecting lines for plug-in power sup-
ply units do not operate any longer
• the products were stored under unfavourable condi-
tions for a long period of time or
• the products were exposed to extraordinary stress
caused by transport.

The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the
product is inadmissible because of safety and approval
reasons (CE).
Consult an expert when in doubt about the way of oper-
ation, the safety or the way of connecting the camera.
Also note the safety instructions and instructions for use
of the other appliances which are connected to the
camera, and the instructions given in the individual
chapters of this manual.
Do not carelessly litter the packaging material because
plastic sheets or bags, styropor components, etc. might
turn into a dangerous toy for children.
Keep the camera out of the reach of children. It is not a
toy.
Observe the safety regulations laid down by the profes-
sional trade association for electrical equipment and
installations in industrial and commercial facilities.
