• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic foil/bags etc.
can become dangerous toys for children, there is risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect
the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage
- the device no longer functions
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions over a long period of time
or
- following considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are
to be observed.
• The supplied monitor, the wall power supplies as well as the remote control of this
system may not get damp or wet.
• The camera, the monitor and the provided wall power supplies are intended for dry
indoor use only.
• The wall power supplies are constructed according to protection class II.
• The device may only be operated with a 230 V/50 Hz (10/16 A) AC power source of
the public mains supply system. Never try to operate the device using a different
voltage source.
• You may only use the delivered wall power supplies to supply the system with elec-
tricity. The camera can also be operated using the built-in rechargeable battery.
The monitor can also be operated using the supplied rechargeable battery.
• Ensure that all the electrical connections and connection cables between devices
and any extension cables comply with regulations and the operating instructions.
• Electronic devices are no toys and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or parts are removed
(unless these parts are intended to be removed without tools). Terminals may also
be live. If the appliance needs to be opened for calibration, servicing, repair or
replacement of parts or assemblies, it must be disconnected from all voltage
sources first. Any necessary servicing or repair on the open device must be carried
out by a specialist who is familiar with the risks involved and the relevant regula-
tions.
• Capacitors in the device may still be charged even after it has been disconnected
from all power sources.
• The wall power supply/power line must not be plugged in or unplugged with wet
hands.
