For saving energy, the Gastroback Home Sommelier will switch off automatically
after 10 minutes of being idle and the LCD display will get dark. Nevertheless, your
last setting will be kept in memory even after disconnecting the appliance from the
mains power supply (see: "Memory Function").
INTERRUPTING OR CANCELLING OPERATION – THE "STOP/RESET"
BUTTON
You may interrupt or cancel the current decanting process at any time you like by
pressing the "Stop/Reset" button (pause function).
Pressing the "Stop/Reset" button once: the decanting process will be interrupted.
To re-assume operation and continue the current decanting process, press the
"Start" button.
Tip: You may use this function to reach the optimum decanting time for your wine.
After interrupting the decanting process, you can test the current state of your wine
for the optimum taste and mouth-feel. If you wish to continue decanting, simply
press the "Start" button to re-assume operation.
Pressing the "Stop/Reset" button twice, the percentage decanting progress will
be reset to 0%. Thereafter, you can start a new, complete decanting process
immediately without any other settings.
Pressing the "Stop/Reset" button three times will reset the default value for the
decanting time to zero ("00:00"). Thereafter you must select a new decanting
time via the setting dial, before starting a new decanting process. However,
before starting a new decanting process, you can modify the decanting time in
any case.

INSTALLING OR REPLACING THE BATTERY

The Gastroback Home Sommelier may be operated on battery without any external
power supply. Even though a rechargeable battery is used, it may be necessary to
replace the battery at the end of its lifetime, because the lifetime even of recharge-
able batteries is generally limited due to the chemical processes within the battery.
However, in any case you can operate the appliance via your mains power supply
without the battery.
