and the percentage decanting progress will be shown. The decanting progress
will always be 0 %, before starting the decanting process. With the designated
battery installed, the battery charging level will be displayed via an icon.
Note
The natural decanting time displayed is the decanting time necessary, when using a
traditional wine decanter (see: "Properties and Benefits of Your New Home Somme-
lier"). When setting the decanting time, you will select the natural decanting time in
hours and minutes ("h:min"). Please keep in mind that the actual decanting time using
the Gastroback Home Sommelier will last only some minutes � depending on the natu-
ral decanting time you have set. For example: 3 hours natural decanting time are
corresponding to approx. 3 minutes, when using the Gastroback Home Sommelier.
6. Turn the selection dial to set the desired natural decanting time for your wine
from 0 to 15 hours in steps of 5 minutes. With the desired value on the display,
press the "Start" button to start operation.
Tip: You may interrupt or cancel the current decanting process at any time you like
by pressing the "Stop/Reset" button (see: "Interrupting or Cancelling Operation").
7. Wait until the percentage decanting progress displayed reaches 100 % and the
appliance stops operation automatically. Thereafter, your wine is ready for con-
sumption.
8. Pour your wine and rinse the decanting bottle with warm water to remove the
residues of wine (see: "Care and Cleaning"). Do not leave any residues of wine
dry on the surfaces of the decanting bottle.
9. If you wish to start the appliance newly, press the "Stop/Reset" button to reset
the percentage decanting progress to 0%. Thereafter, you can start a new
decanting process immediately.
10. If you do not wish to use the appliance again, switch off the appliance, unplug,
and clean the appliance. After cleaning, you should store the decanting bottle in
the foam shipping box, in which it came to you. This way, it is protected against
damage and dust.
Note
Do not store any wine within the decanting bottle of the appliance to avoid the
build-up of deposits within the decanting bottle. Any mechanical cleaning of the
decanting bottle should be avoided as well as cleaning within an automatic dish-
washer (see: "Care and Cleaning").
