Problem
You attempt to operate the appli-
ance on battery, but the appliance
does not work.
Charging the battery failed.
Possible Reason
The battery is discharged.
The battery is exhausted.
The battery is not installed in cor-
rect orientation.
The terminals of the battery or the
appliance are corroded or contami-
nated or the battery is damaged.
The battery is exhausted.

The Solution
Do not forget to charge the battery in time. Observe
the battery icon on the display. See: "Charging the
Battery".
Even high-quality, rechargeable batteries have a limi-
ted lifetime. Replace the battery (see: "Installing or
Replacing the Battery").
The battery cover must be closed properly for ope-
ration. However, do not force the battery into the
battery compartment with violence. Check the correct
orientation of the battery (see: "Installing or Repla-
cing the Battery").
Immediately switch of the appliance and remove the
battery from the appliance. Check the battery for any
damage (see: "Installing or Replacing the Battery").
Do not attempt to operate the appliance via a bat-
tery that is probably damaged. Contact your vendor
or the Gastroback Customer Care Center for getting
a new battery.
